men's swga Events

mens order of merit

The SWGA has a rich heritage in the region, tracing its Men’s district champions title back to 1957.

In 2013, the SWGA reintroduced the Order of Merit for Open tournaments in the area to encourage participation in all SWGA affiliated clubs open championships, but lapsed during the COVID 19 years.  We are now eager to revive this prestigious competition & restore it to its former prominence.

Two categories of Merit Awards will be offered to male players. Points will be earned in Stroke competitions played throughout the District for Gross & Nett scores.
