Profile
SWGA and Golf Austraila has an extensive schedule of events for junior players of all ages and abilities. Some events are conducted by Golf Australia and some by SWGA and it's affiliated Clubs. In most cases, players need to be a member of a club with a GA handicap. Many of the events count toward SWGA and Golf Australia Order of Merit. Read more here..

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Dating back to the early 1980’s this event has been the launching pad for many Junior Boy and Girl golfers to go on and play District and Metropolitan Pennant and develop into excellent amateur and professional golfers.

The SWGA Junior Tournament Schedule consists of designated Order of Merit events conducted by the SWGA and its member clubs during the calendar year with the Final Round being the SWGA Junior Championships. Points are awarded dependant on the player position in the finished field of a nominated event.
Bill Cunningham Trophies
Open to all Junior Boys that are members of SWGA affiliated clubs, this event consists of a Nett and Gross category awarded to the Junior Boys who accumulate the most Merit Award points for the calendar year.
Vicki Uwland Bracelett
Introduced in 2000 and renamed in 2002 for recognition of Vicky Uwland’s golfing achievements, this Junior event is open to all Junior Girls affiliated with SWGA.

- Event 1 - Bill Cunningham Trophy is open to all Junior boys that are members of a SWGA affiliated Golf Club

Event Profile
The Victorian Junior Country Regions Competition is played annually by 7 Super Regions across Victoria, each represented by a team of up to eleven (11) boys and girls and it is restricted to country members.
The event is played over 36 holes stroke (Boys & Girls).
