SWGA 2023 PRESIDENT'S CUP
9tH jULY 2023 at portarlington g.c
The President’s Cup is a Handicap Foursomes Team Event using the Pinehurst format of play.
Clubs within the SWGA enter a team of 6 comprising female/female, male/male and male/female. The team recording the lowest net score of the combined three pairings wins the event and the coveted President's Cup trophy is held by the winning club for twelve months.
The South Western Golf Association is pleased to provide district clubs with the opportunity to compete in the exciting event. This is a fundraiser held by SWGA as part of our partnership & commitment to Geelong Community Foundation.
Kieser Australia will be the 2023 major sponsor for this successful team’s event, ably supported by SWGA district clubs & businesses.
The success of this golf day goes beyond the golf course.
All funds raised from donations, raffles & auctions are distributed by Geelong Community Foundation to support just causes within the Geelong & District Community.
Only 114 players can play golf but anyone or any club wanting to be a part of the benefits can. Just have a proxy in the room to bid on the auctions.
Larger value items will be auctioned so come prepared to bid personally or on behalf of someone or even your club as some items may be a vaulable fundraiser for your club.
