2023 WOMEN'S DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

EVENT HISTORY:  The Open Championship was first played for in 1933 until 1990 over 36 holes until 2002 when it was modified to 27 holes.  

For their many years of service to the District, the Open Salver was named in honor of Audrey McKenzie, the B Grade Trophy, in honor of June Gillivour & the C Grade Trophy in honor of Margaret Smith.

EVENT DETAILS:   EVENT 1: Open Championship Trophy to be awarded to the player returning the best Overall Gross score.

 EVENT 2: Audrey McKenzie Salver to be awarded to the player returning the best Overall Nett score.

 EVENT 3: June Gillivour Perpetual Trophy to be awarded to the player returning the best Overall Gross score.

EVENT 4: to be awarded to the player returning the best Overall Nett score

EVENT 5: Margaret Smith Perpetual Trophy to be awarded to the player returning the best 18 Hole Stableford score

Event Conditions: ·         A handicap limit applies on the day of play as follows:         

Event 1 & 2 - no greater than GA18.9

Event 3 & 4 - G.A 19-27.9

Event 5 - G.A 28-45.

Format: Singles Stroke ( Events 1-4)  Singles Stableford ( Event 5)

Entry Fee: $20 Includes golf only

GA Handicap Limit: GA 45.0 

Entries Open: 9 October 2023
