We had perfect conditions on this tight, challenging course for the final of the Betty Kernot Scratch Foursomes Knockout competition.
After three rounds, the competing teams for Division 1 were Curlewis and Anglesea, with Wendy Tottenham and Lesley Richardson taking on Jo Dempsey and Caroline Dickins.
This match was very keenly contested with some great and not so great golf with the eventual winners being Anglesea on the 16th hole.
Division 2 saw the Colac team of Fiona Scott and Lynette Nelson eventually getting the win on the 18th hole from The Sands team of Alison Bell and Noels Bray.
Colac had to fight hard to get back in the game after being down by 3 after 13 so spectators were treated to some gritty golf from both teams.
The day was enjoyed by many supporters of the competing clubs.
