In good weather & good spirits 28 pairs of Women from across the SWGA headed out from multi tee starts in the quest to win the coveted Mandy Buckley Gross Champions silverware or the Handicap Salver.
Stoke foursomes, is not an easy format, can be fun but can go very wrong. The less multi bogeys the better.
13th Beach GC pair Megan Wall & Kerrin Biddle were able to get home with the Gross and winning the coveted Mandy Buckley Foursomes Trophy from a very competitive field who threatened all day.
Runners up were Jenny Edmanson & Alica Clark from Portarlington GC with 87.
3rd Place with a good score of 90 was Torquay GC ’s Karen Bourke & Jenny Shultz (who didn’t find a bunker all day)
The Nett Foursomes Salver was won on a countback by The Sands GC pairing of Andrea Harvey & Danielle Walker with a strong 74 nett.
Runners up were Angela Foott & Meg Pratt from Portarlington GC.
3rd prize was earnt by another Portarlington GC combo of Sue O’Connor & Julie Milne with a 76 nett.
