2022-23 Merit Award
Captains and committee’s get on board the Merit Award Program to promote your events and support others in the district.
Introduced to promote travel and support to club events within the District, the Merit Award, rewards players for their good golf results when playing on other courses.
Events such as Bowls, Plates, Salver Events and Club Opens are Merit Award events.
Please promote travel to other club events to not only support the clubs but to also have the chance to gain points in the Merit Award. Points gained accumulate over the year, with the winners being announced in the New Year. Points are awarded to the top five scores in three categories. Stableford, Gross & Nett.
These Travel, Play & Win reward prizes, are worth the effort and host clubs appreciate the effort of those travelling.
