This year we had three (3) Sections totalling 19 teams. The top team from each section and the best scoring runner up team across the sections played for the Westerveld and Trevenan Shields. The Shield winners then competed for the Ford Cup.
The knockout semi finals on 30th November saw Barwon Valley 2 defeat Geelong 1 (4-1) to win the Trevenan Shield
The other semi final was Geelong 1 defeating East Geelong 2 to take the Westerveld Shield.
This past Sunday the final of Junior Pennant was played at Queenscliff Golf Club between Geelong 2 and Barwon Valley 2. With perfect conditions and course well presented for these 2 teams a tight challenge and some excellent golf was watched by spectators and anxious parents.
Geelong 2 was too strong for Barwon Valley with a 4-1 win.
