The Australian Junior Amateur Championships is being held at the Gosnells Golf Club in Perth from the 9 April – 12 April in the upcoming school holidays. 2 Juniors from the SWGA will be competing in this event. Ted Sargeant from the Geelong Golf Club and Ben Bowers from the Curlewis Golf Club.
The following week the Australian Junior Interstate team matches will be played at the Royal Freemantle Golf Club in Perth. Congratulations to Ted Sargeant who is one of 5 boys selected in the Victorian Team to compete against the six other States and Territories in the weeklong event starting on 15 April.
Ted Recently won the Tasmanian Junior Masters in January which got him his world amateur golf ranking.
